Flights & Transfers

Cape Town International Airport is the closest airport - 45 minute drive to Boschendal. We recommend booking an official transfer from the airport to Franschhoek.

For all transfers that you require, we recommend contacting Sorita at 'Charters for Events'. We have booked all of our transfers through Sorita, and it is best to reach her through WhatsApp on +27 (0) 674097744.

 

When contacting her, please state: 

  • Date of transfer 

  • Time of transfer 

  • Flight no. (if applicable) 

  • Pick up address 

  • Drop off address 

  • No. of passengers and amount of luggage

  • Name of lead passenger and contact number

Accommodation

It's very easy and safe to travel around Franschhoek and Cape Town via Uber, and there are plenty of accommodation options within a 5-20 minute drive to the venue - we would recommend looking on booking.com.

Franschhoek’s village has a great collection of art, antique shops and galleries, and the main streets are lined with restaurants and coffee shops to explore.

Go and visit the penguin colonies at Boulders Beach (Simons Town). A 45-minute drive from Cape Town.

You can find the most beautiful, colourful houses in Bo-Kaap, and The Old Biscuit Mill is just 10-minutes away. The Old Biscuit Mill has lots of amazing restaurants, and every Saturday and Sunday from 9am there is a  popular Neighbourgoods Market bringing together local artisans, designers and foodies.
